Our approach teaches students to OUTSMART AN OPPONENT and use strategies to gain the UPPER-HAND often using UNCONVENTIONAL tactics that work even for the "underdog". Some of these unique aspects include advanced threat assessment skills to predict, prevent, deter violence, powerful personal protection planning, and unique skills like using WEAPONS OF OPPORTUNITY to manage potentially dangerous situations. Students may attend two classes per week. Students should try and stick to two classes per week so that burn out does not occur. Burn out can also happen to parents as well. That is why two classes per week are highly suggested.

Should I practice when I am not in class?

Yes. Students should practice 15 minutes a day when they are not in class. Outside practice is vital for students to maximize their progress.

How Long Does It Take to Become A Black Belt?

The time it takes to become a black belt depends on your abilities, focus, class practice and participation. To reach Black Belt or Jr Black Belt generally requires three to four years of dedicated practice. The more time spent in practice in conjunction with 2 or 3 classes per week will allow you to progress more rapidly than those who only practice in class. Many students are surprised with how fast there progression is, especially learning to defend themselves in an attack.
