I have been a professional martial arts and firearms instructor for the last 12 years. My wife and I are the former owners of American Self Defense in Twin Falls Idaho where we taught 175 students for over 9 years. I was a reserve deputy with the Twin Falls County Sheriffs Department and I am a trainer at the Idaho Police Academy in Meridian. My family and I recently moved to Meridian Idaho to build the perfect martial arts school.

Nothing has bothered me more in my career than all of the phony “fly by night” martial arts instructors with made up credentials who take unsuspecting students money. These guys make students bow in subservience and give nothing in return. I’m even annoyed with the “honest” instructors who don’t know how to run their business properly and for some unknown reason have an easier time communicating with a wall then treating their students with the dignity and respect they deserve. I have decided that I am going to help change the martial arts industry and make it what it truly can be, A WAY TO IMPROVE PEOPLES LIVES FOR THE BETTER!!
